Aurora Penate, LMHC

Aurora Penate is a licensed mental health therapist within the Department of Psychology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned a bachelor's degree in French at Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.  Ms. Penate then pursued a master’s degree in mental health counseling at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Her clinical interests include anxiety and adjustment disorders, trauma and stressor-related disorders, self-esteem and mood disorders.  

 
Ms. Penate is a member of the American Counseling Association.  

 

Ms. Penate is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
